About the Role
Fasten your helmet and climb aboard if you’re ready to be our Vendor Liaison (VIP). In this role, you will be an integral player in the CARE team based in Jakarta, Indonesia. You’ll take the wheel in managing vendor interactions and account relations for Gojek. This’ll include monitoring day-to-day operations, managing vendor portfolios, enacting process improvement, and securing action plans. The folks in the CARE team will be your companions on this ride, as well as various internal and external stakeholders. Your efforts will help ensure that Gojek maintains excellent strategic relationships with our vendors, and that they always enjoy a seamless, efficient experience collaborating with us.
What You Will Do
Act as the strategic relationship and account manager for all vendor interactions
Manage vendor portfolios and make recommendations in terms of process improvements using our knowledge of the detailed CARE metrics
Collaborate with vendors in order to deliver excellent service to all clients
Partner with appropriate internal teams to ensure cost effective quality service
Provide special treatment for our VIP clients, making sure every single ticket abides by the VIP flows process, especially the service recovery rules; propose enhancement for better service for VIP Clients, ensuring every metric reaches it target
What You Will Need
At least 3 years of experience in the Operations field
Ability to communicate formally in English & Bahasa (verbal & written) with internal & external stakeholders
Ability to take initiative to improve team performance
An understanding of process flow, as well as inputs and output in order to achieve target performance results
An eagerness to learn and ability to handle complicated tasks with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills is a must, especially for financial related matters which impact the minimum guarantee or penalty for the performance
Familiarity with reporting and basic data analytics tools (i.e. Excel)

Our CARE family is based at Gojek's headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia, and consists of talents from various subdivisions: Vendor Liaisons, 2nd Layer, Quality Assurance, Content, L&D, and Process Improvement. Collectively, we collaborate closely on a daily basis, dealing with things from operational changes, new processes and policies, and projects that work to streamline our Care experience for all Gojek user-types across all of our geographies. We resolve more than 15,000 tickets with zero agent intervention every single day.
Recently, together with the Service Excellence division, we’ve worked on projects that created value-adding relationships with vendors, and streamlined our portfolio and process recommendation procedures. We always keep the big picture in the forefront of everything we do, and understand how the complex relationship between budget and vendors can make or break a company.
