About the Role
In this role, you oversee the full spectrum of Dapur Bersama’s daily operations, including administrative support, ensuring all its moving pieces never run below set standards. By providing top quality service and facilities for our merchant-partners in each region, taking the time to deeply understand their experiences and concerns, and effectively resolving any issues that may arise, you’ll foster stronger relationships between the company and our merchant-partners, taking our collaborations to new heights. This will be a hands-on, on-the-ground role, so you’ll get to (safely) travel across Indonesia to monitor each Dapur Bersama location in person.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee daily end-to-end operations of all Dapur Bersama locations
  • Create manpower projections and ensure their readiness to keep up with each respective location’s demands
  • Keep track of each merchant-partners’ daily log-ins to compile them as weekly reports for the Merchant Experience team
  • Conduct regular audits to monitor venues, assets, facilities & equipments, and with our merchants-partners directly in order to get gain a real understanding of the latest on-ground conditions
  • Conduct monthly performance appraisals for each location’s Team Leader, providing them any guidance as needed
  • Manage administrative support of the overall Dapur Bersama operations including PR/PO creation, quotation checking, invoice processing, and data compiling as needed
  • Be the point-of-contact for all communication matters related to Dapur Bersama’s merchants-partners, locations, and vendors

What You Will Need

  • At least 1 year of experience in Sales or Operations roles; experience in the Food & Beverage or FMCG fields is a plus
  • Familiarity with Gojek’s internal finance system Coupa to be used for PR, invoice process, and budgeting, will be a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills to ensure smooth day-to-day workflow and provide useful solutions to any problem that may arise
  • A sharp attention to detail to ensure quality levels of service and facilities are provided
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to keep up with the nature of the business (for instance, the F&B business is highly reliant on time; cloud kitchens require optimum timing in order to minimize customer complaints that can lead to loss of sales)
About the Team Dapur Bersama is GoFood’s newest cloud kitchen business. Our team comprises 15 professionals based in Jakarta Indonesia. Cloud kitchens are restaurant kitchens that only accept delivery orders; they don’t have a physical space for dine-ins or takeaways. Thus, the gist of our responsibility is to ensure our merchant-partners in every Dapur Bersama location enjoy seamless, efficient daily operations. This includes safe and conducive building conditions, staff’s health and safety, kitchen hygiene and sanitation, and the availability of water and electricity, among many other things. The one main goal that drives our team is to accelerate the growth of local culinary MSME businesses in Indonesia. Our team is continuously working on improving the services and facilities provided through competitive benchmarking, keeping up with the latest updates on culinary facilities and equipment, and most of all, listening to our merchant-partners’ feedback and concerns. Essentially, we work to ensure our merchant-partners are provided with everything they need in the kitchen, so that the only thing they need to focus on is whipping up delicious meals for our customers to enjoy. We launched just over a year ago and are hungry to expand our number of 65 locations throughout more areas across Indonesia very soon. Off hours, when we were working in-person, you would’ve probably found us hanging out in the cafeteria or anywhere near a coffee machine (we are insane coffee lovers here). Working from home has been a strange time for a lot of us, so our team has been taking time on our calls to trade advice on the best ways to keep sane with this new work set up. We’re made up of workout enthusiasts and K-Drama fanatics (any discussions within these fields are greatly welcomed!). Once COVID subsides, we’re excited to resume our hunt for the best coffee shop in town as a team once again.
