Our Company is seeking to hire a Retail Manager with experience (Mall / Department Store) retail/Wholesale/and FMCG industries to join our Retail Department and who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our Store.

At least 8 years relevant experience in retail management position with Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field are required.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and team player.

Retail Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to staffs
  • Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
  • Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
  • Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
  • Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
  • Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
  • Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
  • Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
  • Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
  • Ensure the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
  • Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so
  • Preparing promotional materials and displays
  • Liaising with head office

Retail Manager Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration or any field.
  • Good in English Communication Skills and must have IELTS passing mark
  • At least 8 years’ Experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar position in a Retail / Wholesale / Fast Moving Consumer Goods industries (FMCG).
  • Knowledge of stock inventory and supply control.
  • Supervisory and management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility - ability to work in both team works or independently.
  • With a valid passport
  • Willing to work and be assigned in Lae City, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea

  • RT-PCR / Saliva Swab-test expense in the Indonesia is refundable (80%)
  • 14 days Hotel Quarantine at Holiday Hotel upon arrival to Papua New Guinea is paid by the company (Food 3 times a day is included in the hotel quarantine package)
