The work schedule for this position is Full Time (40 hours per week).
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (5 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Relocation Expenses Reimbursed:
This is the professional FSN position in the consolidated Property Accounting and Warehousing (PAW) under ICASS services. The incumbent is directly responsible for the control of the property management program of the U.S. Embassy in Indonesia, consisting of the official locations in Jakarta, Medan and other associated agencies. The incumbent supports the American Accountable Property Officer (APO) and assumes overall supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the APO, or APO designee. The incumbent supervises the daily activities at two (2) off-Chancery Compound warehouses and one (1) on-Chancery Compound storage facility, and directs the movement of personnel and property between different official locations, ensuring the accurate accountability, procurement, and cost containment of more than forty thousand non-expendable and more than one hundred thousand expendable properties.
Qualifications and Evaluations
EXPERIENCE: Five years of progressively responsible experience in the supply and warehouse (or closely related) field in which at least two years was with an Embassy, government agency, international company, or government contractor is required; and, a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity.
At least two years completion in College (2 years) or University or equal Post-Secondary Education.
LANGUAGE (this may be tested): Level IV (Fluency) speaking/reading/writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES (this may be tested):
Must be able to use Microsoft Word to draft documents in English; Excel spreadsheets to conduct supply analysis, and PowerPoint for organized communications.
Must be able to use asset/property management systems, procurement, work order software to manage accountable property.
Must have analytical, management and supervisory ability to organize, manage, and supervise the post supply program safely and effectively.
Must be able to work calmly and tactfully in dealing with American employees and their families.
Must have a valid driver's license (SIM-A).
