We are looking for a professional Human Resources Generalist
HR Generalist administers daily HR activities and provides support in practical personnel related matters together and in close co-operation with HR Manager. In this position HR Generalist works as part of Asia Pacific Human Resources Operations team.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
HR Generalist will support Valmet managers and staff members in daily HR related matters through various communication methods. he/ she will also support PT Valmet Technology Center project management in HR related issues such as resourcing, onboarding and training of employees, as well as ensuring that employment related practicalities are created for the new technology center.
HR generalist must assist HR Manager in various HR processes and tasks, Administration of payroll related practices, Support the application of country specific legislation, Provide accurate HR related reporting as needed, Participate in the administration and implementation of HR instructions
As business partner, HR Generalist will also support managers to complete HR related processes, such as employee onboarding, performance review, development review, Workday-related processes etc., as well as Assists in organizational training and development efforts as needed
HR Generalist must perform according to Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and other company’s management system, policies, practices and instructions
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support managers in recruitment process and ensures that recruitment process is followed.
Collaborate with HR Manager to execute recruitment strategies and coordinate hiring for selected positions.
Conduct candidate interviews with managers, negotiate contract terms and create offer letters as part of recruitment process.
Execute workforce planning and develop local resourcing practices to meet workforce needs.
Provide recruitment package (ID, Entrance key, Laptop Application, Seat arrangement and connection).
Facilitate onboarding together with recruiting managers.
Ensure that required employment data is delivered to SAP and payroll administration and organization charts are updated.
Training & Development
Assists in organizational training and development efforts as needed.
Ensure that all employees training are recorded accurately in the HR tools.
Conduct competency profiling across functions.
Ensure the implementation of internal Valmet training with the nominated participants (Functional, Cross functional, Expertise)
Support and advice managers and employees on employment-related issues.
Ensure the implementation of the company regulations and policies together with HR Manager.
Monitor and follow-up of external conditions regarding IR matters, such as regional labor issues, updated new regulations, etc.
HR Other Activities
Support managers to complete HR related processes, such as employee onboarding, performance review, development review, compensation, etc.
Support managers in compensation & benefits related issues together with HR Manager.
Ensure high quality HR operations by understanding the needs of internal customers, developing best practices and giving feedback and support for Valmet employees.
Collaborate with all functions to ensure good delivery of HR services.
Participate in global HR projects as and when required.
Meet reporting and requirements.
Monitoring manpower issue on the site project of PT. Valmet.
Prepare the Quarter Headcount report and Admin Budgeting for the company (PT.VTC, AUT & PT. Valmet) together with HR Manager.
Support HR Manager in foreign employees related issues, such as work permits
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field or alternatively equivalent work experience
A minimum of 5 years of work experience within the Human Resources field with a strong knowledge of basic HR processes, tools and instructions
Skills and abilities
Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and in writing
Experience in payroll administration and practices
Good MS Office skills, familiar with HR Workday System
Ability to travel to other Valmet premises when needed
Excellent customer service orientation with solid communication and co-operations skills along with the ability to work proactively, systematically and independently
Open, professional and approachable nature
