Summary:

The work schedule for this position is:


  • Full Time (40 hours per week)


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Supervisory Position: No Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No Travel Required: Not Required Duties

Serves as one of Embassy Jakarta's Financial Clerks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing and reviewing voucher packages for submission to the Post Support Unit (PSU) or voucher examiner, managing receipt of invoices to insure processing within standard processing times, completing documents required for VAT filling, and providing clerical support to the Financial Management Center, including: perforating and filling processed vouchers, scanning files, ordering supplies, requesting e-services, escorting visitors, and maintaining the FMC filling system. The job holder is responsible for notifying claimants of improper supporting documentation for voucher payments, responding to and coordinating inquiries from the PSU, and responding to inquiries regarding payment status. The job holder works under the direct supervision of the Supervisory Voucher Examiner.


Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business administration is required.


Education Requirements:

EDUCATION: University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Level III (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English and Bahasa Indonesian are required. (This may be tested)

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Jakarta, Indonesia may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.

The certification letter should be on letterhead of the appropriate military branch of the service and contain (1) the military service dates including the expected discharge or release date; and (2) the character of service. Acceptable documentation must be submitted in order for the preference to be given.
