Merchant Excellence & Projects is a key part of the Merchant Excellence Team in Indonesia Central Operations which objectives to ensure Merchant Onboarding Experience is a top-notch and simple yet exciting journey. Merchant Excellence Team focuses on ensuring all the operations processes of Merchant Onboarding are standardized, efficient, and have good governance practices through various improvement initiatives implementation together with Product, Customer Experience, City team, and many more.
Get to know the Role :
We are looking for someone that will lead multiple improvement initiatives and partnering with business & operation stakeholders to identify, define, propose, select and implement improvement opportunities to address Merchant Onboarding pain points through strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The role will provide endless growth opportunities & expand your portfolio in professional development.
The day-to-day activities :
You will manage end to end merchant onboarding journey improvement and high impact strategic projects in Indonesia across all onboarding channels and functions. Your core responsibilities will include:
Develop improvement initiatives frameworks and execute key strategic projects through analyze merchant onboarding pain points, develop hypotheses, gathering information from various sources, deep-dive & synthesize data, deliver & present recommendations, and assess the impact of proposed solutions
Collaborate with product, operations, leadership, and other stakeholders to execute an ambitious strategy while delivering delightful and impactful experiences for our merchants
Work directly with internal process owners and Team Leads and project teams to drive process improvement projects within their areas of responsibilities
Collect data on various metrics to create performance baselines and implement them across the organization, monitor the usage of performance baselines, and identify action plans to improve baselines on a regular basis
Help drive and facilitating regular meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
The must haves:
Bachelor/Master degree with good honors from a top tier university
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment with experience in project management/business improvement role and solving business problems using a structured thought process and data-driven approach
Proven track record of strategic and operational planning, collaborative cross-functional working, and leading the delivery of high-quality improvements projects
Showcase solid spoken and written communication skills and ability to influence and persuade at the executive level through communication and presentation materials
You can adapt from a big-picture thinker to one who is also detail-oriented and can navigate through different situations/topics
Ability to work well under pressure, as this role may require you to deliver high-quality projects under tight deadlines
Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean Management will be highly beneficial
